AI takes on dentists: who places implants more accurately?

NCT ID NCT07523815

First seen Apr 14, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using artificial intelligence to plan and guide dental implant placement is more accurate than the usual digital method. Twenty adults with some missing teeth will receive a single implant. Researchers will measure how close the final implant position matches the plan, both in distance and angle, and how long the planning takes.
