NCT ID NCT07364942

First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system could assess surgical risks as well as anesthesiologists do. Researchers compared the AI's risk ratings with those of doctors for 500 adults scheduled for elective surgery. The goal was to see how often the AI and the anesthesiologists agreed, and whether AI could help improve preoperative evaluations.
