Summary
This study tests whether a short AI-generated video can help people better understand their radiology reports. Two hundred adults who have had a radiology exam will receive a personalized video (1–5 minutes) that explains their results in simple language. Participants will complete a survey before and after watching to see if their understanding improves.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- AI-generated video explanation of radiology results
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could lead to a simple tool that helps patients understand their own medical imaging results without needing a doctor to explain everything.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage study (200 people) that only measures understanding immediately after watching a video. It does not test long-term health outcomes or whether the video changes medical decisions.
