AI steps into the ER: can computers sort patients better than humans?
NCT ID NCT07312968
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help analyze the information collected when patients first arrive at the emergency room. Researchers will use data from 1500 patients to see if the AI can accurately predict how sick patients are and how long they might need to stay. The goal is to develop a tool that helps medical staff make better decisions about which patients need care first.
