AI steps in to help schizophrenia patients chew and swallow safely

NCT ID NCT07154407

Summary

This study is testing whether a new AI-guided training program can help people with schizophrenia chew, swallow, and maintain oral hygiene better. About 100 participants will be split into two groups: one will use the AI training app before meals, while the other continues their usual care. Researchers will measure changes in tongue strength, chewing ability, and swallowing over three months to see if the training helps.
