AI hunts for hidden cancer in blood clot patients

Summary
This study is testing a new computer tool called the CLOVER score. It aims to help doctors figure out which patients with a serious blood clot (VTE) are most likely to have an undetected cancer hiding in their body. The tool will be tested on 500 patients to see how well it predicts cancer risk over two years. Researchers will also ask doctors how easy and useful the online version of the tool is to use in their daily practice.
