First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study will test an artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to help with pre-surgery checkups. About 270 adults having planned non-heart surgeries will use the AI to answer health questions. Doctors will then compare the AI's risk assessment with their own to see how well the tool works. The goal is to make pre-surgery evaluations safer and more efficient in Brazil.
