AI helps surgeons spot tiny vessels in reconstructive surgery

Summary
This study tests a new AI tool that helps surgeons find tiny blood vessels (called skin perforators) needed for a type of reconstructive surgery using a bone and skin flap from the leg. About 49 adults who need this surgery will have their CT scans analyzed by the AI, and the results will be compared to what the surgeon finds during the operation. The goal is to see if the AI can accurately locate these vessels, which could make surgery faster and more precise.
