NCT ID NCT07404657

First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study will test a new artificial intelligence (AI) software that looks at photos of the retina to find signs of diabetic retinopathy, an eye disease caused by diabetes. About 198 adults with diabetes will have their eyes photographed, and the AI's results will be compared to expert human readings. The goal is to see if the software can accurately detect the disease and help make screening faster and easier.
