AI steps into NICU to help feed the tiniest patients
NCT ID NCT07414576
Summary
This study is testing a new AI tool designed to help doctors order intravenous (IV) nutrition for premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The tool makes suggestions based on each baby's health data, but doctors make the final decision. Researchers will measure how often doctors accept the AI's suggestions and whether using the tool leads to better health outcomes for the babies.
