First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-powered tool can predict delirium (sudden confusion) in older adults after major surgery. About 60 people aged 65 and older will be enrolled, and their risk will be shared with doctors either on paper or through the electronic medical record. The goal is to see if this helps reduce delirium, falls, and long-term memory problems.
