AI spies on your breathing machine to predict COPD crises
NCT ID NCT07267104
Summary
This study aims to see if a computer program (artificial intelligence) can find patterns in the data from home breathing machines (non-invasive ventilation) to predict when a person's COPD might be about to get worse. It will involve 75 people with COPD who already use a specific type of home breathing machine. The study does not change anyone's treatment; it only analyzes the breathing data the machine already collects to try to create an early warning tool.
