First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool that reads heart tracings (ECG) to predict if a person who just survived a cardiac arrest will have another one. The goal is to help emergency responders treat patients faster and improve survival. The study involves 68 participants, including EMS providers in simulated scenarios and real cardiac arrest patients, to see if the tool is accurate and easy to use.
