AI tutors put to the test in nursing school
NCT ID NCT07183202
Summary
This study tested whether using artificial intelligence (AI) to teach nursing students about a specific patient care protocol (ERAS) was more effective than traditional teaching. Seventy nursing students were randomly assigned to either learn with the AI-assisted program or through standard methods. Researchers measured the students' knowledge of the care protocol and their broader '21st-century skills' like critical thinking before and after the training to see which method worked better.
