AI and brain scans probe new paths to ease elderly depression
NCT ID NCT07186023
Summary
This study aims to understand how non-drug treatments like mindfulness training and brain stimulation affect the brain and mood in older adults with or at risk for depression. Researchers will use brain scans, smartwatch data, and psychological tests to track changes in 124 participants over time. The goal is to gather detailed information to better predict which interventions might help improve mental well-being in later life.
