AI listens to Kids' hearts in major school screening
NCT ID NCT07194785
Summary
This study tested whether a smart stethoscope using artificial intelligence (AI) could accurately find hidden structural heart problems in school children. Over 6,600 students aged 10-18 had their heart sounds checked with the device, and results were compared to detailed heart ultrasound scans. The goal was to see if this quick, AI-powered tool could be a reliable first step for early detection in schools.
