Summary

This study tested whether a brief digital test using artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately detect early signs of dementia or mild cognitive impairment. The test analyzes a person's speech patterns during three one-minute verbal tasks. Researchers compared the AI test results to standard memory clinic assessments in 221 adults aged 55 and older.
