Can AI stop doctors from burning out? hospital tests 'Robot Scribes'
NCT ID NCT07157943
Summary
This study is testing whether AI software that listens to patient visits and helps write medical notes can reduce burnout and save time for doctors. About 105 doctors at a children's hospital will either use one of two AI programs or continue their usual note-taking methods. Researchers will measure changes in after-hours work, time spent on notes, and doctors' reported stress and job satisfaction.
