AI predicts arm swelling risk to guide breast cancer treatment decisions

Summary
This study looks at whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help predict the risk of arm lymphedema (swelling) after breast cancer radiation therapy. About 724 women with breast cancer will be split into two groups: one where the AI risk is shared with the patient and doctor, and one where it is not. The goal is to see if knowing the risk helps guide treatment choices and reduces side effects, while monitoring quality of life and cancer outcomes over two years.
