Your smartwatch could warn doctors before you end up back in the hospital
NCT ID NCT07349901
Summary
This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can predict which patients are at high risk of being readmitted to the hospital after surgery. About 300 adults having elective surgery will wear a smartwatch and smart ring to collect health data like heart rate and sleep patterns before and after their operation. Researchers will use this data to build AI models that might spot early warning signs of complications, helping doctors intervene sooner.
