AI steps into the OR: new model aims to stop surgery chills
NCT ID NCT07353528
Summary
This study aims to create and test a computer (AI) model that can predict, before surgery, which patients are at high risk of getting dangerously cold during gynecological laparoscopic procedures. It will involve 1,000 women having this type of surgery. The goal is to help doctors identify these patients early so they can use preventative warming measures to improve safety and recovery.
