AI device aims to predict deadly second heart attack before it strikes
NCT ID NCT07452016
Summary
This study is testing a new AI device that analyzes a patient's heart rhythm to predict if they will have another cardiac arrest shortly after being revived. First, paramedics will try using the device in realistic training simulations to see if it's helpful. Then, the device will be tested on real patients to see how accurately it can predict a repeat cardiac arrest, without guiding treatment during this initial phase. The goal is to see if this tool could help paramedics provide faster, more precise care to improve survival.
