AI heart test could warn surgeons of hidden danger

NCT ID NCT07348991

Summary

This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can predict dangerous heart rhythm problems in patients before and after major, high-risk surgeries. Researchers will use a simple, portable heart monitor and a standard ECG to gather data from 300 patients. The AI will analyze this data to try to spot early warning signs of heart rhythm issues that could occur during or after the operation.
