AI steps in to predict diabetic foot ulcers before they happen
NCT ID NCT07307183
Summary
This study aims to develop a computer model to better predict which people with diabetes are at high risk for developing foot ulcers, a serious complication that can lead to infection and amputation. Researchers will use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the health records of 100,000 patients, looking for patterns and risk factors. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors identify at-risk patients earlier so they can receive preventive care.
