AI hunts for hidden clues to stop Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT07385521

Summary

This study aims to see if a computer program (AI) can analyze past patient data and medical scans to predict which people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver are most likely to have the cancer come back after surgery. Researchers will look back at the records and scans of 1,000 patients to train the AI model. The goal is to help doctors better identify high-risk patients so they can receive the most appropriate follow-up care and avoid unnecessary treatments.
