First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding artificial intelligence (AI) that learns your meal patterns can improve blood sugar control in adults with type 1 diabetes. Fifty participants will use an AI-enhanced insulin pump system for four weeks and compare their blood sugar time-in-range to a standard automated system. The goal is to see if the AI can help keep blood sugar in a healthy range after meals without extra effort.
