AI steps into cancer care: new study tests if computers can predict best treatments
NCT ID NCT06929338
Summary
This study is testing a new AI-powered tool called xDRIVE that aims to predict which standard cancer treatments will work best for individual patients with advanced colorectal cancer. Researchers will enroll 30 patients to see if the tool can accurately forecast treatment success and provide recommendations within four weeks. The goal is to help doctors make more personalized treatment decisions, though this is an early feasibility study, not a treatment trial itself.
