AI brain scan reader aims to spot Parkinson's

NCT ID NCT04334902

Summary

This study tested a new computer software called mPDia designed to help doctors diagnose Parkinson's disease. The software analyzes special brain scan images (MRI) to look for signs of the disease. Researchers compared how well the AI's diagnosis matched expert doctors' final diagnoses and a current standard scan test to see if it was accurate.
