AI steps into the clinic: can it help nurses match doctors?
NCT ID NCT07432893
Summary
This study is testing whether nurses using an AI tool can plan treatments as well as doctors for common health issues like high blood pressure, diabetes, fever, and breathing problems. About 670 adults in rural India will get two back-to-back checkups—one with an AI-assisted nurse and one with a doctor—to compare the quality of care. Researchers want to see if this approach is safe, effective, and acceptable to patients in areas with fewer doctors.
