First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether nurses using an AI tool can plan care as effectively as doctors for adults with high blood pressure, diabetes, fever, breathlessness, or muscle pain. About 672 patients in rural and semi-urban India will each see both a nurse with AI and a doctor, in random order. Researchers will compare the quality of care and ask patients about their experience.
