First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will develop and test an artificial intelligence (AI) model to measure the curvature of root canals in lower molar teeth using 3D dental scans (CBCT). The goal is to see if the AI can analyze curvature as accurately as human experts, which could help dentists plan treatments and avoid mistakes. The study will involve 207 dental scans from Egyptian patients aged 18 to 65.
