First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether artificial intelligence (AI) software can help endoscopy residents (doctors training to perform colonoscopies) find more polyps. Ten trainees will be split into two groups: one using AI during training and one without. The goal is to see if AI reduces the number of missed adenomas (precancerous growths) and improves detection rates.
