First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a new AI tool that helps surgeons spot brain tumors during surgery using ultrasound. The tool creates a real-time outline of the tumor, which may help remove more of it safely. About 100 adults having brain tumor surgery will take part. The goal is to see if the AI can accurately find leftover tumor tissue at the end of surgery.
