AI rewrites painful memories to soothe anxiety
NCT ID NCT07565714
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This study tests a technique called imagery rescripting, where people revisit upsetting memories and then imagine a better outcome. Researchers want to see if using AI to create these new scenarios works as well as human-written ones. About 40 adults aged 18-35 with mild-to-moderate anxiety will take part. The goal is to reduce anxiety, fear of failure, and repetitive negative thoughts.
