AI eyes on the ward: can computers predict patient crises before they happen?

NCT ID NCT06574906

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer program (machine learning) can analyze patient data to predict when someone in a regular hospital ward might get sicker. It aims to give doctors and nurses an early warning before a patient's condition becomes critical. The study will involve 3000 patients at a single hospital to see if the AI's predictions are accurate.
