AI watchdog for your feet: new system aims to stop diabetic wounds before they start

NCT ID NCT07452354

Summary

This study aims to see if an AI-based warning system and a home care plan can help prevent diabetic foot ulcers from returning. It will involve 200 people whose previous foot ulcers have fully healed. The goal is to catch early signs of a new ulcer using technology and remote support, potentially reducing the need for frequent clinic visits and serious complications.
