AI heart scan study aims to predict your cardiac future

NCT ID NCT07293858

Summary

This study aims to see if very detailed pictures of heart arteries (taken during a standard procedure called OCT) can help predict who might have future heart problems. Researchers will follow 1,000 patients for up to 10 years and also use the scan images to train an artificial intelligence (AI) program to spot important features automatically. The goal is to improve how doctors interpret these scans to make better decisions for patients with coronary artery disease.
