Can AI outwrite heart doctors? study tests Computer-Generated scan reports

NCT ID NCT07340762

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can write accurate heart MRI reports for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Researchers will compare AI-generated reports against those written by expert radiologists using data from 20,000 patients who already had heart scans. The goal is to see if AI can produce reports that are as correct, complete, and clinically useful as those from human specialists.
