Silent killer detector: AI heart patch aims to predict strokes before they strike
NCT ID NCT06600620
Summary
This study is testing a wireless, stick-on heart monitor to find brief, often symptomless episodes of an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) in hospitalized patients. Finding these hidden episodes helps doctors identify which patients are at high risk for having a stroke later on. The research will also see how well patients and staff accept using this new monitoring technology.
