Smart stethoscope uses AI to listen for deadly lung pressure

NCT ID NCT07136623

Summary

This study is testing whether a new AI software, combined with a digital stethoscope and a simple heart monitor, can help screen for pulmonary hypertension (PH). PH is high blood pressure in the lungs that can be serious and is often hard to diagnose. Researchers will collect heart sound and electrical data from about 1,500 adults who are already scheduled for standard heart tests, to see if the AI can accurately spot the condition.
