Can an AI spot your future heart attack on a routine heart scan?

NCT ID NCT07163767

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can predict a future heart attack by analyzing a person's past electrocardiogram (ECG) scans, even if those scans were originally read as 'normal'. Researchers will use data from 150,000 patients to see if the AI can find hidden warning signs in the ECG that humans might miss. The goal is to create a tool for earlier, non-invasive detection of heart attack risk.
