First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new training system that uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality to teach proper hand washing. About 480 university students and healthcare workers will use the system and get real-time feedback on their technique. The goal is to see if this high-tech approach helps people wash their hands more effectively than traditional videos and scanner feedback, which could reduce the spread of infections in hospitals and schools.
