First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can improve recovery after lung cancer surgery. About 868 adults who had lung cancer surgery will be split into two groups: one gets usual care, and the other gets usual care plus an AI app that tracks symptoms, activity, and breathing exercises, and gives personalized advice and alerts. The goal is to see if the AI system reduces pain, fatigue, sleep problems, shortness of breath, and cough in the first 30 days after surgery.
