Summary

This study is building an AI system that analyzes eye images to spot early signs of vision-threatening problems in people with high myopia (severe nearsightedness). Researchers will collect data from 1,000 patients to train the AI to detect a key condition called posterior scleral staphyloma. The goal is to help doctors predict vision decline and start treatment earlier, especially for people in remote areas.
