AI steps into ICU to crack the code of deadly pneumonia
NCT ID NCT07461714
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to help doctors diagnose severe pneumonia faster and more accurately. The AI will analyze a patient's medical data, lab results, and immune system information to identify the specific germ causing the infection and the type of immune response happening. Researchers hope this tool will lead to quicker, more personalized treatment decisions for 1,000 adults in intensive care.
