AI could replace painful biopsies for kidney transplant patients

NCT ID NCT05112770

Summary

This study aimed to create artificial intelligence (AI) tools to diagnose and predict rejection in kidney transplant patients without invasive biopsies. It planned to analyze years of patient data, including urine test results and standard health information, to train the AI models. The goal was to develop a non-invasive method to monitor transplants and help them last longer. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
