AI steps into the operating room: new tech aims to pinpoint cancer depth

Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors more accurately determine how deep early esophageal cancer has grown. About 200 patients will be randomly assigned to have their cancer staged either with the help of the AI system or by doctors using standard methods. The goal is to see if the AI improves the accuracy of pre-surgery staging, which helps guide treatment decisions.
