NCT ID NCT05056948
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether artificial intelligence (AI) can automatically design a single-tooth dental crown by studying the shape and position of a person's other teeth. Researchers enrolled 250 adults with enough natural teeth to serve as a guide. The goal was to see if AI could create a well-fitting crown faster than traditional computer-assisted design, potentially saving time for both dentists and patients.
