AI reads your face: new study aims to spot jaw and teeth problems faster
NCT ID NCT07551622
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will develop artificial intelligence (AI) models to analyze facial photos, 3D scans, and CT images of the head and jaw. Researchers will include about 2,000 people who already have these images from routine dental or orthodontic care. The goal is to help doctors more accurately and consistently identify conditions like misaligned teeth or facial deformities. The AI is designed to assist, not replace, your healthcare provider.
