AI camera spots diabetic eye damage in 5 minutes
NCT ID NCT06721351
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can make diabetic eye screenings quicker and easier to access. Researchers are comparing a fast AI camera system that gives results in minutes against traditional eye exams that require separate appointments. The goal is to help catch eye problems earlier by making screenings more convenient during regular doctor visits.
